I have always had a passion for the beauty industry. My mom was also a cosmetologist so I grew up in the salon. You could say it is in my blood. After I moved to Iowa in 2009, I decided to go to cosmetology school. I graduated from Capri College in Cedar Rapids, IA in 2011. I always wanted to work in an Aveda salon so that was where I started my career. In 2012, I continued my education and became a Certified Color Educator. I loved passing on my knowledge and passion for their color lines with other artists. While with Aveda, I had many great opportunities to travel and learn from some of the best in the industry. I also had the opportunity to do hair on a short film produced by a film student from the University of Iowa that was shot in Iowa City, IA. After being away for 12 years, we decided to move back to the area October 2021. We live on a farmstead outside of Adams. After a year being back, the opportunity arose to purchase Main Hair Care. I felt it was my duty to take this project on. The community needs the salon. I am super excited to bring my vision to life and share more of my passion with the community.
